Steve Storz
In my sculpture, drawings, and installations, I explore off-kilter imaginings of my grapplings with the tangible world. Rusted metal, tangled wires, smudges, withered technical documents, and arcane electrics sit astride industrial and natural forms/textures; pods, towers, layered surfaces and working gizmos. Internally, I'm listening to speakings of the materials and my imaginings to make artifacts that are fantastical and outside of common context.
